Losing weight, admittedly, isn't an easy road to start down. When you're extremely overweight, it is, at minimum, completely discouraging! We know because we've experienced it and that is why we have established this site, dedicated to Weight Loss encouragement. We've built this site to provide encouragement to you, the person who sincerely wants to begin living a healthy lifestyle, but needs encouragement. We're here to tell you: You Can Do It!

It isn't enough for you to say, "I want to lose weight!" Obviously, wanting to lose the weight is a necessary starting place for many, but in order to truly succeed and maintain your success, you must want want to begin living a healthy lifestyle. Weight loss for life is only accomplished when you have accomplished a lifestyle change. Becoming obese isn't something that happened to you overnight, you became overweight gradually. Aside from a genuine medical issue, your weight problem is something that is a result of your lifestyle! If you are serious about losing weight, you must begin thinking on a different level. Your primary focus can't be weight loss, rather, your mindset needs to be set-upon accomplishing a lifestyle change. Losing weight is simply an effect of you making a much deeper change. Weight Loss Comes from a Change of Mindset.
People who are overweight enter into what we call the Give-up Syndrome; an attitude of defeat. This syndrome plagues many of the hundreds of thousands of Americans who are either overweight or obese. Individuals who succumb to the give-up syndrome accept unhealthy eating habits and inactivity as their regular lifestyle. To do anything about it is too hard. Having seen the effect of their unhealthy lifestyle repeatedly displayed in their bathroom mirror each and everyday, they begin to tell themselves, “I’m beyond repair; it doesn’t matter what I eat or how I look anymore; I quit!” They give-up on ever trying to better themselves being overwhelmed by the feeling they’re past the point of ever looking normal again; they are too overweight!
We know about the give-up syndrome, because we’ve lived it and beat it! And we’re here to tell you – You Can Too! Our weight loss came when we changed our lifestyle, when we stopped accepting the lie that we are destined/defeated to remain overweight. Be encouraged: you can overcome the give-up syndrome and you will lose weight! You can start living an active and healthy lifestyle and you can start now! Aside from the encouragement that we offer, start looking at all the reasons around you for why you can change your current lifestyle and thereby lose weight.

We loss weight and so can you - but the catch is this: It wasn't until we changed our lifestyle and committed ourselves to a new way of living that we were able to lose the weight and keep it off.
Understand that Real Weight Loss only comes when you have a change of mind. Your mind must be renewed and your lifestyle radically altered before you will ever see genuine, lasting weight control and health. Start seeing things for the way they really are, for example in the coca-cola picture we have posted, take a look at what you are getting when you chug a bottle or can of coke. Loads of calories; each cube is equal to one teaspoon of sugar.
As you begin your journey and start toward your new lifestyle of healthy eating & living, you will begin to see things for what they really are. And, as a result you will begin to see the reward of a healthy, maintainable weight loss!
